Students are officially registered to the Academy of Ballet in August. However, you may contact us at any time of the year to be placed on a 'wait list.' This automatically places you in our 'interested file' to receive information. This also secures your space in class, without obligation. Some classes, especially the 6 and 7 yr. old Beginner Class, fill quickly.
Registration includes filling out a form to supply names, address, phone contact and noting any medical concerns. Classes begin the full week following Labor Day, in September. Your registration is complete when you have returned the form with your tuition payment.
You are welcome to attend our Spring All Class Presentation. This is a good time to see what our students look like, in general, and meet with instructors in person.
Current Students are automatically reserved class placement until the registration deadline. Registration is complete upon return of form and tuition payment.
Transfer students may be required to take a placement class to determine level. This is simply attending a class in session, and allowing the instructor to assess previous training. Please contact us to schedule a Placement Class.
Please attend the Dubuque City Youth Ballet and Heartland Ballet productions! This is another opportunity to see what we do, and what we expect of our students. We are delighted to meet you after the ballet!
